OKEx receives BTC despite suspension of crypto transactions

Huobi’s major Bitcoin transactions are being switched to OKEx, although the latter has temporarily suspended cryptocurrency withdrawals.

Large Bitcoin transactions from the Huobi cryptocurrency exchange move to OKEx although the latter has temporarily suspended crypto withdrawals.

An unknown user transferred 1995 BTC ($22.6 million) from the Huobi cryptocurrency exchange to OKEx. The motive of the transaction remains unclear in light of the temporary suspension of withdrawals.

According to Whale Alert service, the amount was divided into two transactions between which took 2.5 hours.

Some users have decided that the sender of the transaction has not received OKEx notification about the suspension of withdrawal.

According to Chain.info, thanks to the 1995 BTC transfer from Huobi, the total outflow from OKEx in the last 24 hours has decreased to 6269 BTC. At the time of writing there were 276 184 BTCs in OKEx cold, hot and deposit wallets.
