Bitcoin rapidly breaks more and more resistance levels on the way to the top. The main cryptocurrency has already surpassed many big U.S. companies in terms of capitalization.

Description: In the past two months, the market cap of Bitcoin surged from $190 billion to around $280 billion. The cryptocurrency is now bigger than Netflix, PayPal, BofA, Coca-Cola, Salesforce and Disney.

On Tuesday, 3 November, the first cryptoсurrency once again passed the $14,000 mark and could not gain a foothold above it. However, as early as the next day, BTC began to grow impressively, getting close to $16 000 on the night of November 6. This psychological threshold was not conquered, and during the subsequent correction the price of the first cryptocurrency dropped below $14 500.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at around $15 290. The significant increase in the price of Bitcoin did not prevent some altcoins from adding more in price in a week. Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) gained 14.7% and 15.5% over the period, respectively, against 10.6% for Bitcoin.

Moreover, Bitcoin may rank 18th in the US public company capitalization rating. The 17th largest company in the country is Home Depot with a capitalization of over $306 billion. On 19th place is Verizon with a capitalisation of $242 billion. Companies that Bitcoin surpassed in recent months include some big names such as Netflix, PayPal, BofA, Coca-Cola, Salesforce and Disney.

Sooner or later, Bitcoin will overtake many US financial giants, including JPMorgan Chase and Mastercard. Now is the time to mine cryptocurrency, do it with our Bitcoin cloud mining platform Hashmart.io!
